A LITTLE HELP

Room for questions.

A few things to know about the daily practice.

When can I download Diurna?

Diurna is being prepared for iPhone and iPad on iOS 26 and later. We’ll add the App Store link here when it is available.

What happens when I miss a day?

Nothing is added to your history until you open a quote in the app. There is no backlog to clear, and widget refreshes do not add history.

Does my collection sync?

On supported devices, your history, bookmarks, and reflections use your private iCloud database. Sync requires an available iCloud account and may take time. Your local collection remains available offline.

Are the quotes written by AI?

No. Quotes come from identified historical works and translations. AI can suggest passages to an editor, but a person reviews and approves each daily edition.

Do I need to pay?

The reading and reflection features are free. An optional one-time tip jar supports the work; it is not a subscription and does not unlock features.

What if today’s edition isn’t available?

If no new edition is available, the app can display the last approved one with its original date. It never fills a gap with an unreviewed quote.
